Anal Gland Problems

If your dog has been scooting his or her bum on the ground, most of the time it is due to full anal glands. It is always best to have your pet checked by a veterinarian, but until you can get an appointment, start them on the “Glandex Supplement and Spray”.

Glandex Bundle

Parotid PMG

  • Purchase this product only if you have tried the Glandex Advanced Vet Strength for 60 days first and if it is not helping the problem by itself, then add the Parotid PMG to that regimen. Dogs less than 30 pounds: 1 tablet by mouth daily. Dogs over 30 pounds: 2 tablets daily.

Ear Problems

If you notice redness or an odor coming from your dog’s ears, or if they are constantly shaking their head and itching their ears with their paws, you will need to schedule an appointment with your veterinarian. Until you are able to get in, here are some tips on what to do:

To clean your dog’s ears, flush once daily with “MalAcetic Ear Cleaner”. Here is a video on how to do this

  1. Wipe the outer folds of your dog’s ears with “MalAcetic Wipes” after flushing them.

  2. Wait 30 minutes to allow the ears to dry out.

  3. Then apply “Zymox Drops” - 5 drops (for a small dog) or 10 drops (for a large dog) to the affected ear.

  4. Repeat this process once daily until you are able to go to your veterinarian’s office.

  5. Just remember NOT TO CLEAN OR TREAT your dog’s ears the day of their veterinary appointment because the veterinarian will need to collect a sample from your dog’s ears.

Eye Problems

If you notice your dog is excessively squinting his/her eyes, or there is a large amount of discharge coming from their eyes, you will need to schedule an appointment with your veterinarian to discover the underlying cause. Until you are able to get an appointment, here are some tips on what to do:

  1. Take a picture of your dog’s eyes to show the veterinarian during the vet appointment.

  2. Flush your dog’s eyes twice a day with “Vetricyn eye flush”.

  3. Clean the crusts from your dog’s face. Soften them with “Optixcare Cleaner” and remove them with “Optixcare Eye Wipes”; also twice a day.

  4. Apply 1 drop of “Ocunovis with Amino Acids” into each eye after flushing.

  5. Remember to NOT FLUSH OR APPLY EYE DROPS on the day of your veterinary appointment.
